Ever since embarking on her real estate career in 1985, Angela Kontis has been actively licensed
with the same broker in Long Island City. Such continuity is rare, and she believes it has
strengthened her business. A resident of Queens for the past 37 years, she is very knowledgeable of
the Commercial and Residential markets, especially in Astoria, Long Island City, Woodside,
Sunnyside, and Jackson Heights. Today, 75 percent of her clients are repeat customers or referrals.
She prides herself on providing outstanding customer service and enjoys the freedom and
responsibility of being self-employed. Having developed relationships with local builders, she is
able to provide them with in-depth knowledge of the local market as well as insight to the
community. She prides herself with up to date statistics and information pertaining to the
community, and is able to share her knowledge with potential purchasers making them feel
comfortable that they have made the right decision.
